Originally from Rochester, New York, Andrea Pennell now proudly calls Hickory, North Carolina home, where she has lived for the past 10 years. As a North Carolina licensed real estate broker with five years of experience, Andrea brings a unique combination of professionalism, compassion, and strategic expertise to every client relationship. She was drawn to real estate by the opportunity to build a meaningful career centered around helping others while creating a flexible and rewarding life for her family.

Andrea’s professional journey is diverse and well-rounded. After graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from SUNY Brockport, she began her career in advertising sales, where she developed strong skills in marketing, communication, and business strategy. She later became a licensed massage therapist in New York, Nevada, and North Carolina, eventually running her own successful massage therapy business for eight years. These experiences shaped her into a self-starter with a deep appreciation for exceptional customer service and building lasting client relationships.

She later transitioned into real estate, first as a general broker and then specializing in new construction sales. Andrea now serves as the lead of True North Realty’s New Construction Division, where she brings extensive knowledge of the ins and outs of new construction builds within many of the area’s large development communities. Her insider understanding of builder pricing strategies, incentives, timelines, contracts, and negotiations gives her clients a major advantage throughout the building and buying process.

Combined with her caring and empathetic nature, Andrea is known for truly listening to her clients and helping them confidently achieve their buying or selling goals. Clients appreciate her honesty, integrity, loyalty, and prompt communication, and she strives to make every transaction a positive and trustworthy experience from start to finish.

Outside of work, Andrea is a devoted wife and mother living in Bethlehem with her husband, Eric, their son, James, and their beloved 18-year-old cat, Shiloh. She enjoys hiking, mountain biking, spending time outdoors, and listening to audiobooks focused on personal growth, business, and psychology.

Andrea’s life experiences—from growing up with strong Italian roots and spending summers in Italy to living more than a decade in Las Vegas—have shaped her appreciation for family, gratitude, and connection. Her personal motto, “As within, so without,” reflects her belief that a positive mindset shapes the way we experience life and serve others.
