Helping others has always been the driving force behind Jayla's career. Long before becoming a North Carolina Real Estate Broker, she dedicated her professional life to improving the lives of others through public health. As a Clinical Research Manager, she has led domestic and international HIV prevention and treatment studies, helping advance research that impacts communities around the world. That same passion for serving others naturally led her to real estate, where she now has the opportunity to help individuals and families through one of life's most meaningful milestones.

Jayla's story is one of adventure, adaptability, and finding a place to call home. Born in Germany and raised in a military family, she spent her childhood living throughout the United States and overseas. Experiencing so many different communities gave her a unique appreciation for the importance of home—not simply as a place, but as the foundation for life's biggest moments. Today, she proudly calls North Carolina home and is excited to continue putting down roots in the Hickory community.

Her educational journey is just as impressive. Jayla earned her Master of Public Health from the University of South Carolina and has built a career centered on organization, communication, collaboration, and attention to detail. Those qualities, combined with her genuine compassion and commitment to excellence, make her an incredible advocate for buyers and sellers alike.

For Jayla, real estate is about much more than buying and selling homes. She believes that where we live directly impacts our quality of life, and she understands that every client deserves to feel informed, confident, and supported throughout the process. Guided by integrity, honesty, accountability, advocacy, and a desire to continually learn, she is committed to creating an experience that is as seamless as it is rewarding.

When she's not working with clients or managing research projects, Jayla enjoys running, hiking, camping, watching horror movies, and exploring everything North Carolina has to offer with her husband. She also enjoys supporting Lenoir-Rhyne University's Track & Field program, where her husband serves as an assistant coach, and looks forward to becoming even more involved in the local community.
