Welcome Christina Shearer to the True North Realty Team!

We are overjoyed to welcome Christina Shearer as the newest member of the True North Realty family! Christina joined our team on November 7, stepping into her role as Operations Administrator with passion, experience, and an unwavering commitment to serving others. Her heart for glorifying her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, shines through in everything she does, making her an incredible addition to our mission-driven team.

With over 21 years of experience working for the Department of Defense (DOD), Christina brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in administration and operations. Her decision to take an early retirement in December 2023 opened the door to this exciting new chapter, where her skills will help support and elevate our growing team. A graduate of the University of Baltimore, Christina holds a degree in Business Administration and pairs her educational background with a natural talent for organization and leadership.

Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Christina has followed an adventurous and faith-led path that has taken her to Texas and Colorado before landing in North Carolina this past September. She and her husband, DuWayne, are thrilled to call this area home and are looking forward to building lasting connections within the community. Married for over eight years, the couple shares their lives with five cherished Labradors—Gracie, Zeke, Obi, Bear, and Luke—who bring love and energy to their home.

When she’s not diving into work or caring for her adorable furbabies, Christina loves hiking and immersing herself in the great outdoors. She’s often found exploring mountain trails in the spring and summer, taking in the beauty of nature. As a true organizational enthusiast, Christina is known for her lighthearted saying: “I have a spreadsheet for that!” Whether it’s a work project or a personal goal, her ability to bring structure and clarity is a gift that benefits everyone around her.

Christina’s favorite Bible verses, Colossians 3:23—“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men”—and 1 Corinthians 14:40—“Let all things be done decently and in order”—serve as guiding principles in both her personal and professional life. Her faith and dedication to excellence are evident in everything she does, and we know she will make a significant impact on our team and the community we serve.
