Summer Has Arrived in Hickory

Downtown Hickory Farmers Market
One of Hickory's most beloved traditions continues throughout June under the Sails in Union Square.
Market Hours:
- Wednesdays: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Saturdays: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Rain or Shine
You'll find fresh local produce, flowers, baked goods, meats, honey, handmade crafts, and much more while supporting local farmers and small businesses. It's also a great excuse to spend some time downtown and catch up with friends and neighbors.
Cool Off at Local Pools & Slash pads
When those North Carolina temperatures start climbing, a day at the pool becomes a summer necessity.
Kool Park Pool
A longtime Hickory favorite, Kool Park Pool features diving boards, a water slide, picnic areas, and plenty of room for families to spend the day. The pool is open daily from 10 AM to 6 PM. Admission is currently:

- Adults 13-64: $18
- Seniors 65+: $10
- Children 2 and under: Free
