Born and raised in the breathtaking mountains of Helena, Montana, Rachel grew up with a deep appreciation for connection and community. After attending Bible school, she met her husband in Nashville, Tennessee, and together they decided to begin a new chapter in North Carolina in 2013. Since then, Rachel has fallen in love with Hickory, where she and her husband are raising their two wonderful children, Sarah Grace (12) and Micah Lewis (6).
Rachel and her family love being part of the welcoming Hickory community and can often be found spending time outdoors or enjoying the local culture.
From Healthcare to Real Estate
Before stepping into real estate, Rachel worked as a nurse assistant at Lake Norman Regional Hospital. This role gave her invaluable experience in empathy, communication, and patience—skills that now shape the way she serves her real estate clients.
Rachel prides herself on her organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring that every transaction is smooth and stress-free. Having personally gone through the home-buying process, she understands how important it is for clients to feel heard, supported, and appreciated at every stage. Her mission is simple but powerful: to help each client find the perfect home for their family.
Life Outside of Work
When Rachel isn’t helping clients, she’s enjoying life with her family. Music is an important part of their lives—Rachel and her daughter love to sing together, while her husband plays guitar at Authentic Church here in Hickory. The family also spends many weekends out on Lake Hickory, boating and relaxing as they take in the natural beauty of the area.
